Governance as the foundation for responsible business

The Board of Directors is responsible for the company’s overall governance, strategy and control environment, whilst the Chief Executive Officer leads the operational activities. Together, this creates stability, transparency and accountability throughout the organisation and in our relationships with customers, investors and society.

Corporate governance model

Three lines of defence

To ensure that we comply with laws, regulations and internal guidelines, we apply an internationally established structure comprising three lines of defence. This model creates the conditions for a sound risk culture and high quality in decision-making and reporting.

Whistleblowing – secure reporting of irregularities

To enable the early detection and handling of non-compliance, Hoist Finance offers a secure whistleblowing function. Employees can report suspected irregularities or breaches of the Code of Conduct without risk of reprisal. Reports can be made anonymously or by name and are handled by designated functions in accordance with applicable regulations.

Handling of customer complaints

We strive to treat all customers fairly, respectfully and transparently. If a customer experiences shortcomings or wishes to make a complaint, there are clear procedures for how the matter is received, investigated and followed up. Complaints are handled in a structured manner and can be escalated if necessary, as part of our accountability to customers and regulatory authorities.
